Conversation Guides follow an intentional structure that helps facilitators to build a level of relationship and trust in the group before engaging in conversation. During the conversation, guides offer facilitators a tool to lean on, helping ensure a level of consistency across conversations while offering the flexibility for participants to meaningfully engage and respond to what's being said in the moment.
Questions in our guides are open-ended and should not be perceived as biased or leading. Questions and facilitation are all intended to evoke personal stories and narratives focused on people’s hopes and concerns regarding a particular topic rather than asking people to speculate or offer opinions.
