A portal is an interactive microsite meant to memorialize conversations, amplify real voices, and provide proof of listening. Our portal template includes a number of standard features, outlined below, but also allows for customization.
Check out some of our partner’s portals here:
Standard Portal Features
Featured on the homepage of a portal, the insights showcase is the first chance visitors have to interact with key takeaways from a conversation campaign. We currently offer two visualization options: packed circle and bar graph.
Visitors to a portal can click on a circle or a bar to see subthemes and other information about your conversations. Each key takeaway links to the corresponding Insight page.
The highlight showcase lives directly below the insights showcase on the homepage of a portal. You can use this section to promote standout highlights and encourage further listening. The content of a highlight showcase is completely customizable.
Map Showcase (Optional)
If you’ve collected demographic information from conversation participants, you can represent that information graphically via an interactive map. This map appears on the homepage and in your highlight explorer. While partners have primarily used this tool to map information geographically, it can be used to map any demographic you can imagine.
Conversation Library (Optional)
Portal visitors can see the interaction and overlap of key takeaways or themes in the conversation library. Your entire collection is represented on this page. Visitors can dive straight in by hovering over or clicking on key themes, and are invited to listen to relevant highlights across all conversations.
In your highlight explorer, visitors can use a custom set of filters to surface voices from across conversations. This tool also allows visitors to filter by demographic, in addition to by theme. It can also include the interactive map which is also features on a portal homepage.
Each key takeaway includes a dedicated Insight page, where you can tell the story of your stories. Weave text and audio by embedding highlights directly on the page. Optional subheadings allow for easy navigation, so you can lead visitors to the information that is most relevant to them.
Our Team / Our Process
Honor the people who made your project possible and give visitors a peek into how it came together. The team page supports logos and headshots, and the process page supports one featured highlight.
