After importing conversations and highlights to your catalog in Insights, you may notice that conversations that have been uploaded to Fora and new highlights that have been created later on may not be appearing in Insights. This is because when importing conversations and highlights to Insights, our platform is taking a snapshot of your conversations and highlights at that moment in time. Any updates that you make to conversations, highlights, and transcripts will need to be re-imported (we call this process refetching) to Insights.
How to refetch conversations and highlights in Insights
You start this process by first navigating to your catalog in Insights. From there, you should hover your cursor over the icon in the bottom left with a plus sign on it. This should open up a menu. In that menu, you should see an option to "Add Conversations". After clicking "Add Conversations", a new box should pop up that includes a field for you to select the conversations that you would like to add. If you are just trying to import new highlights to Insights from a conversation that has already been added, you will just need to click into that field and make sure that the conversation has already been selected and press submit. If you are hoping to upload a completely new conversation to insights, be sure to select the title of that conversation from that dropdown that appears and press submit.
Refetching conversations to reflect changes to transcripts
If you make any updates to the text of the transcripts (including speaker names) after you have imported your conversations and highlights to Insights, you will need to refetch those conversation by following the steps outlined above to see those changes reflected in Insights.
